Morgan Stanley purchased more shares of the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust. In total, the corporation invested $307 million in BTC.
According to reports filed with the SEC, Morgan Stanley Institutional Fund invested in Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) last quarter for three of its funds: Growth Portfolio, Insight Fund and Global Opportunity Portfolio.
The total number of GBTC shares held through the three funds reached 6,626,381, worth approximately $307 million at current prices.
Morgan Stanley started buying GBTC in June 2021. This spring, Morgan Stanley began negotiations on acquiring a stake in the Bithumb exchange.
