Revolut plans to issue its own token

The British company Revolut, which is valued at $33 billion, is preparing to issue its own token.

According to insider information CoinDesk, Revolut is exploring exchange tokens such as Binance's BNB. Details of the new product are not yet known, and the launch time of the coin will depend on the approval of the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The new token will be mainly aimed at Europe, where the company has already received a banking license.

In June, Revolut representatives said that crypto services accounted for approximately 20% of its revenue from 16 million customers around the world. At the moment, clients have access to more than 50 different coins. The fintech company claims to process more than 150 million transactions monthly.

Revolut recently announced that WeWork rent payments will be processed in Bitcoin.
