Cryptocurrency firm donates funds to help homeless people

Scotcoin is committed to donating 5 of every £20 of coins purchased before the end of January 2019 to charity.

“This is a great opportunity for us to participate in the initiative to help the homeless. Social Bite has already achieved a lot in this area. We are delighted to be collaborating and sincerely hope that we will be able to donate significant amounts over the next few months,” said Scotcoin founder Temple Melville.

Socail Bite is raising funds for social housing and winter homelessness.

Social Bite is delighted by Scotcoin’s donation scheme, in which 25% of the purchase price of coins will be donated to charity.

“We are thrilled to be supporting ScotCoin in our mission to end homelessness in Scotland. Their donation will help us fund initiatives such as housing and building a social estate for homeless people,” said Andrew Bailey, a spokesman for Social Bite.
