John McAfee believes that the HitBTC exchange personifies the corrupt forces that decentralization is designed to combat.
"Cryptocurrency exchanges have become something we initially fought against. They have too much power. For example, the HitBTC exchange oppresses many poor people who cannot afford the minimum deposit because its price is more than their monthly income. Let's boycott it."
Many people supported McAfee's post in the comments. One of the followers said that he had been fighting HitBTC for seven months to get his locked coins back. Another follower wrote that decentralized exchanges are the only way to combat the power lust of centralized exchanges like HitBTC. Community members actively joined the discussion and described how the exchange often blocked their coins without explanation, did not respond to emails, and could not update their wallet for weeks, while on the Binance exchange, for example, updating a wallet took several hours. One of McAfee's lawyers offered his assistance in resolving all issues related to the HitBTC exchange.
McAfee promised to continue the fight against the HitBTC exchange until it has the same priorities as the crypto community:
"HitBTC, I will be your worst enemy until your views coincide with the views of the community. You are not interested in helping the poor, you do nothing for to help people access the only free health care in the world."
One of McAfee's main goals, he said, is to combat the power concentrated in governments, banks and stock exchanges. That's why he expressed his intentions to run for president in 2020. Although he admits his chances of winning the election are slim, he is confident it will give him the opportunity to convey his ideas to a wider audience. He plans to demonstrate Docademic's virtually free medical solution as a solution to the health care problem in the United States.

The confrontation between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash is increasingly reminiscent of Swift's story of the war between the blunt ends and the sharp ends. The long, exhausting and completely pointless struggle for the right to break an egg with a blunt or sharp end is too similar to the debate over whose cue ball is steeper, which the crypto community has been watching for six months now.
