Visa will advise its clients about cryptocurrencies

Visa will launch a new consulting department that will help businesses work with cryptocurrencies.

On December 8, the company announced that it will help financial institutions and entrepreneurs understand digital assets - from the deployment of cryptocurrency payment systems and CBDC to NFTs.

According to Reuters, the first company to turn to Visa for advice was the financial firm UMB. Vice President of UMB said:

We came to the guys at Visa to learn more about cryptocurrencies, stablecoins and the use cases that best suit our business needs.

Visa is one of many payment companies that have entered the cryptocurrency market in recent years. Recently Mastercard released cryptocurrency payment cards, and PayPal launched a consumer application for trading and storage cryptocurrencies.
