Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan said that by the end of this year the department is going to launch a single end-to-end bus-railway-air ticket. To do this, it is necessary to create a unified database of carriers, the register of which will be based on blockchain technology. This should protect the system from all kinds of fraud.
There is no further information about the innovation for now. They promise that the system will work both within the country and abroad. They also say that a mobile application will be created in which you only need to enter your location and the end point of the route. Next, the system will show all options for optimal routes, including all types of transport available within the country.
It is likely that skeptics have already thought about the accuracy of the system. This is understandable, because even small electronic services in the regions sometimes fail. As for the convenience of the service from the Ministry, it will be known after the launch of the project.
