Developers on the blockchain platform demand a salary of $180,000 per year

Thomas Bertani, CEO of the Swiss company Eidoo, spoke about the high demand for specialists in the field of blockchain. Developers can expect a salary of $10,000 to $15,000 per month. That is, the developer’s annual earnings, accordingly, will range from 120 to 180 thousand.

According to Thomas Brittany, there are two reasons for this:

- difficulties in finding highly qualified specialists in the field of blockchain;

- Switzerland, as is well known, is one of the most expensive countries in the world. Therefore, the level of salaries here is incomparably higher than in other European countries.

Today, Switzerland is positioning itself as a country that provides the most favorable conditions for the development of the cryptocurrency market and blockchain technologies.

Thomas Bertani argues that this country can become attractive to companies that want to place tokens. In China, which prohibits this, and in the United States, which treats such businesses with caution, it is unlikely that it will be possible to launch an ICO. And Switzerland considers ICOs as a new and very promising type of investment.

But this very fact is an obstacle to finding specialists. Companies that have earned substantial capital from tokens simply outbid people and “headhunting” takes on a heated form. This is especially true for the so-called Zug Valley, where 100 members of the crypto association literally snatch qualified blockchain specialists from the hands of recruiters.
