Mail.Ru Group began accepting cryptocurrency as payments for advertising

The official press release on the company's website states that from March 6 of this year, Mail.Ru Group will accept digital currencies as payment for advertising campaigns within the myTarget platform on all projects, as well as in the affiliate network. This list also includes the social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki.

In turn, those who own participating sites and applications can accept payment in digital currencies for their services. More specifically, advertising can now be paid for using Bitcoin (BTC) or Bitcash (BCC).

It is worth noting that there is reason to assume that Bitcash (BCC) refers to Bitcoin Cash (BCH). It is with this that the BitPay processing service works, through which payments are accepted.

“We strive to give our clients maximum opportunities for business development. The myTarget platform will become a starting point for the ecosystem, which will further develop, including other Mail.Ru Group products, including gaming projects,” says Dmitry Sergeev, First Deputy General Director of Mail.Ru Group.

We would like to remind you that the founder of Mail.Ru Group Yuri Milner invested about $20 million in Telegram’s ICO for the release of this messenger’s cryptocurrency.
