The first Spanish company to offer its employees to receive salaries in bitcoin was the consulting firm Repara tu Deuda.

Another way to attract the attention of staff to cryptocurrency technologies was the opening of training courses. During the training, employees receive basic knowledge of working with virtual currencies: application possibilities, methods of investment and exchange.
One of the directors of the Repara tu Deuda company, Enrique Espinosa, noted that this project is aimed at motivating staff, and not at the economic benefits of the enterprise.
“We want to stimulate our employees, push them to study and use new technologies, and give them the opportunity to discover new horizons. We are interested in progressive personnel and therefore are ready to provide them with new information for free, just as other companies conduct language courses for their employees.”
Recall that earlier the largest Japanese conglomerate GMO Internet Group announced its intentions, starting in March 2018, to pay part of the salaries of its employees in bitcoin.
