The Conference.NFT Kyiv - the first Ukrainian NFT event

NFT or “non-fungible token” took over the cryptocurrency and art markets back in 2020, causing genuine surprise in the new digital world and leaving collectors and investors with their mouths open.

NFTs are digital assets built on the blockchain that give buyers and sellers ownership of unique properties that cannot be replaced by anything else without changing the essence and value of the item. This could be a painting such as the Mona Lisa, exclusive photography, real estate or music. Anyone can photograph them, but the original always exists and will be one of a kind. Owning an authentic example, rather than a copy or screenshot, is what gives an NFT the real value that collectors and investors are hunting for in the many marketplaces.

How do these NFTs work and what are they? Who needs them? Isn't this just another bubble that will burst? Chris Torres, who created Nyan Cat, sold a GIF of the famous internet meme for $590,000. Pop star Grimes (Elon Musk's ex-girlfriend) earned $5.8 million in less than 20 minutes by selling her NFTs on a popular marketplace. Just imagine, even the photo of Britney Spears and Madonna's famous VMA kiss is now an NFT too! Could we have thought about this in 2003? Legendary athletes, influencers, and even fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana and others are eager to leave their memorable mark on the history of NFTs.

Following the success of The Conference.NFT (online edition), which took place in June 2021 and brought together more than 1,500 participants from all over the world, The Conference.NFT Kyiv - the first Ukrainian conference entirely dedicated to NFTs - is ready to make The gray Kyiv November is much brighter! The organizers won a grant to hold this unique event at PMHub, which is located in the very heart of Kyiv.

On November 27, 2021, PMHub will unite all artists, investors, marketplaces, developers and celebrities to experience this very NFT vibe together! Just a year ago, the idea of buying and selling crypto art using “non-fungible tokens” would have seemed ridiculous. But as you might have guessed, there is a trend that is moving faster than the speed of light. And this is definitely an NFT.

The event program includes exclusive reports from industry leaders, panel discussions with the hottest topics, master classes and much more. Everyone will be delighted with the virtual gallery, NFT performances, and exclusive activities such as the presentation of their first NFTs from world-class stars.. Don't worry, no one will go home without a pre-sale auction! The event will be organized with the support of the marketplace. No special knowledge is required, but even if you are already “in the know,” The Conference.NFT knows what to surprise.

Thanks to the partnership provided by Pari Match, AroundB makes prices accessible to everyone. The main goal is to show that the world of NFTs is not so mysterious and complex, and anyone can become an active participant. Students of art universities are given a 50% discount on attending the event.

Undoubtedly, this is a great opportunity to understand what these NFTs are, meet people who are ready to look at this world a little more broadly, and, of course, enjoy the atmosphere and get emotions that have been missing for so long. You will definitely want to tell your grandchildren about this event :) Let's get to know each other!
