You can pay for KFC products in Canada with Bitcoin

Fast food chain KFC Kentucky Fried Chicken announced the possibility of payment in bitcoin

This service is provided by the Canadian branch of KFC. Although it will be possible to pay with bitcoins for only one item on the menu, the time frame is also limited. This position is called “The Bitcoin Bucket” and its price is $20.

You won’t be able to directly pay for a “bitcoin bucket” in a restaurant chain. You will not be able to go into a restaurant and pay for your order at the cash register. But, the company offers to pay for bitcoin using the online page of the payment operator BitPay.

KFC delivers “The Bitcoin Bucket” to the address specified by the customer and this service is paid additionally - 5 Canadian dollars. Another commission, in the amount of 37.5 Canadian dollars, will have to be paid for a bitcoin transaction on the network. The company also takes into account the changing exchange rate of digital currency in relation to fiat currency, so the cost of the product will change and current prices can be found on the KFC Facebook page.

The network did not stop there and another marketing ploy was an offer personally for the creator of bitcoin. Satoshi Nakamoto can receive a free The Bitcoin Bucket, provided he discloses his incognito identity.

The developers of this program hope, if successful, to expand payment methods and the list of cryptocurrencies that can be used to pay for KFC products.
