AlphaPoint Exchange Selects XRP as Base Currency

Yesterday, AlphaPoint posted on its blog about the launch of a next-generation crypto exchange for retail and institutional investors called DCEX. The San Francisco-based exchange will be the first in the world to operate with XRP as its sole base currency.

According to the company, their team consists of experienced professionals from the world of finance and securities, whose goal is to combine the cryptocurrency market with the best practices of the traditional financial industry.

The new cryptocurrency trading platform will offer clients trading in 15 cryptocurrency pairs - XRP, Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Ethereum classic (ETC), OmiseGo (OMG), EOS (EOS), DASH (DASH), Tron (TRX), Monero (XMR), VeChain (VEN), IOTA (IOTA), ZCash (ZEC), as well as the stablecoin TrueUSD (TUSD),

According to company employees, the advantages of their platform will be low commission fees, margin trading, fast execution of all operations, as well as arbitrage between cryptocurrency pairs. As of today, users can already register on the DCEX website, exchanger and trading services will be available in the coming weeks.
