Citizenship in exchange for investment: how to get a European passport for cryptocurrency

The Hungarian company Ajax Software LLC announced the launch of a cryptocurrency for the investment migration industry. The coin was called Citizenship or “Citizenship Coin”, or CTZ.

Citizenship allows you to buy citizenship through the CBI (citizenship by investment) and RBI (residency by investment) programs used in many countries around the world.

According to the founders of Ajax Software, CTZ is an experimental digital currency based on blockchain technology and designed to revolutionize investment migration. The project uses a peer-to-peer blockchain, which allows network participants to manage transactions and issue tokens jointly. The source code of the system is a continuation of the code of the Bitcoin and Litecoin projects.

Citizen Coin is free and open source software available to citizenship consultants, real estate agents, law firms in the CBI/RBI industry. Specialists will have the opportunity to support and manage the Citizenship network, work and collaborate together without intermediaries. This will make the application process for CBI and RBI programs faster and easier around the world, including in the EU.

A limited supply of 105 million coins is planned and, similar to Bitcoin, their number on the market will be halved every four years. CTZ can be exchanged for other currencies through crypto exchanges for a small fee of 1%.

Citizenship's pre-ICO will begin in April this year. The starting price is 1 CTZ equal to 1 EUR. It is planned to sell one million Citizenships and raise ten million euros through an ICO for software development and the creation of a blockchain infrastructure. The company is planning a promotional campaign in which 100 CTZ will be donated to the first 50 CBI specialists, in the order in which their applications are received.  The minimum purchase volume is 100 CTZ coins

Analysts and experts suggest that this innovative service will be of interest to wealthy miners. Blockchain offers potential investors another opportunity to obtain legal status in EU countries.

The e-Residency program is of interest to many European countries. Estonia has been working in this direction for several years. Spain has recently followed suit, where Catalonia plans to create a digital currency and a digital residency program.
