According to the latest research from Morning Consultant, celebrity opinions have a big influence on crypto investors.
After conducting a survey among 2.2 thousand Americans, analysts found that almost half of cryptocurrency owners turn to celebrities for advice, but financial advisors still have more influence on decision making.
The share that would invest in cryptocurrency if it approved by the following people:

Online stars are trusted by about 45% of crypto investors, and the opinion of financial advisors - by 81%.
At the same time, retail crypto holders are more likely to turn to celebrities for advice on investment strategy than large investors. Such players more often choose traditional financial advisors.
Cryptocurrency owners tend to be younger and trust social networks more when making financial decisions.

Piplsay analysts came to similar conclusions at the beginning of the year. According to their data, almost 40% of Americans invested in cryptocurrencies after Elon Musk’s tweets. More than 64% of crypto investors follow the businessman’s account.
