Crazy crypto millionaires

The fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-expanding world of cryptocurrencies has given thousands of people immense fame and fortune over the past couple of years. We offer a list of the strangest Bitcoin millionaires.

1. Eric Finman

Eric became a millionaire at the age of 18, and invested in Bitcoin at just 12. Not only did he end up with a multimillion-dollar fortune, he also won a bet with his parents, making a million before his 18th birthday, which meant that he now did not have to go to college.

2. Jeremy Gardner

Jeremy, who is only 25 years old, travels the world telling everyone about the wonders of Bitcoin and teaching investment techniques and strategies. His followers, of whom there are many, describe Jeremy as the Great Prophet in the world of cryptocurrency. He founded a blockchain forecasting startup, as well as a kind of commune where crypto enthusiasts live and work under one roof.

3. Charlie Shrem

Perhaps one of the most famous (or infamous) Bitcoin investors is a 27-year-old who has amassed a fortune of $45 million. This amount was reduced somewhat after he was accused and found guilty of laundering money for Silk Road, a deep web marketplace that sold drugs and weapons. As a result, Shrem spent two years in a Pennsylvania prison. Was released in July 2016.

4. Yifu Guo

A 27-year-old guy was behind the creation of Avalon, the manufacturer of the very first Bitcoin miners. He is one of the most active Chinese investors and has earned more than $5 million. He is considered a popular and influential philosopher of the cryptocurrency world.

5. Ross Ulbricht

Ross William Ulbricht, 34, who was known online as “Dread Pirate Roberts,” was the founder of the ill-fated platform that got Charlie Shrem into trouble, Silk Road. Despite an incredible fortune of more than 145,000 Bitcoins, Ulbricht has no way to spend his hard-earned money, having been sentenced to two life sentences in 2015, as well as 20, 15 and 5 years for separate offences.
