Cryptocurrency apps are taking over China

According to a recent analysis by Nasdaq's Jiguang, the number of Chinese citizens using cryptocurrency-related apps has exceeded 7.5 million, a figure that shows a 230.84% year-on-year increase despite severe market volatility.

The Jiguang company makes it possible to collect user statistics through installed software. Sometimes data is collected to help firms implement targeted marketing strategies and then the company provides accurate data, user activity analysis and financial risk analysis.

A study of the industry of cryptocurrency applications showed a significant increase in their distribution.

At the same time, statistics show an increase in the number of users among women. By September, more than one-third of cryptocurrency app users were women, up 8.7% from last year. Such information proves that gender inequality in China's cryptocurrency space is decreasing, just as the age of users is decreasing.

More than 70% of app users are between 26 and 35 years old. And the number of young people under 25 increased by 13.1%.

The results of the distribution of virtual currency applications in the regions of China show that only 12.7% of active users live in large cities. At the same time, 60% use only one application, the most popular of which are ImToken, OKEx and Firecoin Pro.
