Elon Musk got a Shiba Inu

A new member of Elon Musk's family, a Shiba Inu puppy named Floki, has taken Twitter by storm.

SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk's love for the adorable Shiba Inu dog breed is well known. Not only is this breed the mascot of Musk's favorite cryptocurrency, Dogecoin, but they are also known to be great companions. Musk has already promised several times to get a Shiba Inu puppy. Although many believed this was simply market manipulation, he has now fulfilled his promise.

On September 13, Musk tweeted the long-awaited news. The picture shows a baby sleeping peacefully on a rug.

“Floki has arrived!” Musk captioned the post. We're already melting over this cutie!

Netizens reacted to the adorable puppy with many comments. While many predicted that Dogecoin's price would skyrocket after the publication, others simply liked little Floki and asked for some more photos.

The Shiba Floki token responded instantly to Musk's tweet, soaring 1,300%, but was unable to maintain its height and fell 70%, but maintained its rapid growth in sales.
