A deputy of the village council in the Rivne region entered the list of the richest people in the region thanks to a powerful investment portfolio.

A little-known local politician declared 500 shares of Tesla Corporation and 124 bitcoins. According to the document, Vladimir Pachesny purchased his bitcoins in February 2013. At that time, the purchase was valued at UAH 73,920. Today this amount is equivalent to $8.2 million.

In addition, the politician has 1.4 million hryvnia and 13.4 thousand dollars in his accounts, and another 9.3 million hryvnia and 77 thousand dollars are kept in a safe. His wife keeps 2.2 million hryvnia and 40 thousand dollars.

The deputy wears an IWC PATEK PHILIPPE watch worth 560,000 hryvnia and 1.4 million hryvnia. His wife wears a sable fur coat worth 420,000 hryvnia and three mink coats worth 200,000 hryvnia each. The family travels in two LEXUS cars, 2010 and 2013, and lives in a house of more than 300 sq.m.
