You can pay for studying in Paris with cryptocurrency

Financia Business School in Paris recently added master classes on fintech and blockchain technology to its curriculum. Since 25% of students are foreigners who sometimes have problems paying tuition, the institution has added Bitcoin as a payment method.

An innovative service for paying for tuition using Bitcoin is provided by the Parisian blockchain startup Coin Capital. At the moment, 5 students have already paid for courses using BTC. Adam Hasib, one of these students, said:

I became interested in this technology early on and quickly became an active proponent of the decentralized blockchain model... In June 2017, I bought my first Bitcoin, which I used to pay for my tuition. All I had to do was contact the administrator and get the wallet address.

School representatives reported that in the future they plan to use blockchain to support administrative processes within the institution. They also shared their plans to issue their own token.

The digital market is taking civilized forms, universities around the world are increasingly launching training courses on blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. According to information from the online platform for freelance programmers Toptal, since January 2017, the demand for blockchain developers has increased by 700%, and there is still a catastrophic shortage of qualified specialists.
