The miner earned $1.07 in four days of work

Reddit user "nstran541" reported that his earnings from cryptocurrency mining through the WinMiner application amounted to $1.07 in 4 days. Although this miner did not specify which coin he was mining, other users shared his dissatisfaction. Since energy costs are now many times higher than earnings, many miners have abandoned cryptocurrency mining as it has become unprofitable.

Another user with the nickname “MagniGames” said that his earnings are also insignificant, despite the rise in prices for the mined cryptocurrency.

I mined the Raven token when it was 400 on the list. It has now risen to position 50 and is considered one of the significant tokens on the Binance exchange. But I'm still at a loss, considering electricity and equipment, so I stopped mining.

Cryptocurrency mining in many countries is limited by strict rules. In America, the cities of Plattsburgh and Ephrata, Washington State, have completely banned cryptocurrency mining activities. The city of Plattsburgh, however, intends to lift the ban, but in Ephrata the ban will remain in effect for a year.

In Iceland, which is considered the center of crypto mining, many companies are switching from Bitcoin mining to activities related to Blockchain technology.

But in China, mining operations are gaining momentum. Research has shown that China currently has the most miners. The Chinese mining company Bitmain, for example, accounts for more than half of all Bitcoin mined in the world.

This number of mining operations in the country is explained by cheap electricity prices. According to data from various sources, Chinese miners earn 30% more profit than miners from other countries, given that electricity costs in China cost $0.08 per kilowatt per hour, and in other countries - $0.12.
