FlexPool has stopped servicing miners from Russia

The largest Ethereum mining pool has stopped servicing Russian IP addresses in protest against the invasion of Ukraine.

FlexPool became the first crypto company to speak out against Russian aggression and show solidarity with Ukraine.

A Flexpool representative said:

The company has never interfered in politics before. However, this is a war that could end the world and is already taking the lives of many innocent people in Eastern Europe.

The decision to cut off Russian users from its platform was not an easy one, as company representatives said on the Reddit forum.

Flexpool also called on other companies to join their solution and put people before profits.

We call on other companies and people around the world to join us and together change the world for the better. This is no longer about politics. It's about preventing the apocalypse and saving lives. We must put the planet before profit.
