20. 03. 2018. Roskomnadzor ordered Durov’s company to satisfy the FSB’s demand for the transfer of decryption keys by April 4.
04/02/2018. Telegram explained the technical nuances of the impossibility of transferring encryption keys.
6.04.2018. The Tagansky District Court of Moscow received a claim from Roskomnadzor to authorize the immediate blocking of the Telegram messenger.
04/12/2018. The hearing of the lawsuit filed against Telegram is scheduled for Friday, April 13.
Pavel Durov prohibited his lawyers from participating in the process.
Telegram lawyers filed a petition to postpone the court hearing.
04/13/2018 The petition of Telegram lawyers was rejected by the Tagansky Court of Moscow. The court regards it as an abuse of law.
The trial began without representatives of Pavel Durov, within the deadline.
The court upheld the claim to block Telegram.
The court decision reads: to establish a restriction of access on the territory of Russia. The decision must be implemented immediately. The decision can be appealed within a month in the appropriate instance.

⁃ The appellate instance confirms the decision of the court of first instance.
⁃ Roskomnadzor issues the following warning.

Telegram users are upset about the possible blocking of the popular messenger, but they believe that this is not a reason to abandon the service.
