The former first lady of the United States launched a platform for selling and buying NFTs on the Solana blockchain.
The first NFT has already been put up for sale on the marketplace. Fans now have the opportunity to purchase a digitized watercolor of her eyes, “The Vision of Melania,” made by French artist Marc-Antoine Coulon. Attached to the painting is an audio message with words of hope and inspiration from Melania. In 2022, another auction will be held on the platform.
The platform runs on the Solana blockchain. You can pay for your purchase using MoonPay or the SOL token.
A portion of the proceeds from the auction will go toward technology education for children in foster care. This will continue Melania's Enabling the Future initiative, launched during Donald Trump's presidency.
In her Twitter, she wrote that the new event will help “our country's children achieve their unique American dream.”
