The billionaire co-founder and managing partner of private equity firm Thoma Bravo admitted that he is investing in Bitcoin and believes that the cryptocurrency will only increase in value over the years.
In an interview with CNBC, Orlando Bravo said:
How can you not love cryptocurrency? Look at the movement. Aren't we all tired of paying transaction fees? What about exchange rates? And do you see currencies in other countries being completely worthless?
Bravo calls cryptocurrency “a great system” that is both “friction-free and decentralized.” He also believes that blockchain technology is effective on its own.
While he is hesitant to offer a specific price forecast, Bravo says he is “very bullish” on Bitcoin. Given its limited availability, increasing number of use cases and growing popularity, there is reason to be bullish on it.
