In an interview with the American business publication Fortune, the founder of the Binance trading platform, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), said that the crypto winter could last until 2026.
During the interview, he stated:
What is happening can be called a disaster. Meanwhile, during times of decline, there is always an opportunity.
Although Changpeng is aware that investors are suffering heavy losses, he does not panic and sees the bright side of the situation.
According to him, the current market picture is good for blockchain companies to expand at a lower financial cost, and Binance plans to take advantage of this situation.
CZ also believes that during the crypto winter the market is clearing from scam, which in the long run will make investors who want to invest more protected from scam.
