JPMorgan CEO: Bitcoin has no value

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon is not a fan of Bitcoin. On Monday, he reiterated his sentiments, calling the cryptocurrency "useless."

Speaking at a virtual conference of the Institute of International Finance, Dimon said:

I personally believe that Bitcoin has no value. But if our clients want to trade Bitcoin, we will provide them with this opportunity.

Dimon has previously criticized Bitcoin, calling it a “scam” and “fool’s gold.” He even threatened to fire JPMorgan traders if they traded cryptocurrency.

But, despite the head’s skepticism, the investment bank was one of the first to offer its institutional clients access to cryptocurrencies. In July, the opportunity opened to invest in the four largest crypto funds. A month later, the bank launched its own Bitcoin fund.
