President Donald Trump's former adviser Stephen Kevin Bannon claims he owns enough bitcoin and has stressed that he is developing his own cryptocurrency.
Steve Bannon is an American businessman, former White House chief adviser and marketing strategist, and member of the US National Security Council. Bannon served as chief White House strategy officer in US President Donald Trump's administration for the first seven months of his term. Bannon is a famous, if controversial, political figure. Money is his driving force. His decisions and intuition helped him become rich. And today he speaks confidently about the future of cryptocurrency.
“I like Bitcoin. I have Bitcoin." he told a journalist at the Delivering Alpha conference in New York. In addition, Bannon believes that cryptocurrency is the future of the world economy, but 90% of ICOs were a disaster due to the thoughtlessness of the organizers and the short-sightedness of investors.
Now Bannon intends to release his own coin and is working on his own ICO project. The special token will be a “utility” token, and will be used to develop populist movements around the world. The businessman has already held a number of meetings with private investors and hedge funds to negotiate an ICO with his current investment firm Bannon & Company. Bannon has long been known as a supporter of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. In an interview with the New York Times in June, he praised Bitcoin as “revolutionary,” calling it “disruptive populism.” Bannon believes that cryptocurrency takes control away from central authorities and brings true freedom. In his opinion, digital assets are capable of resisting the “European establishment.”
