The name Satoshi Nakamoto is known to almost everyone. This is the man who invented the first cryptocurrency - Bitcoin. This is an innovator who has found an application for blockchain technology, which can radically change the world in the near future.
The real name of the person hiding under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto is unknown. Some people suggest that Satoshi is not a person, but a group of people or even an extremely advanced artificial intelligence. Therefore, what this monument will look like is still not known to the general public. The initiator of this event was Kiev resident Alexander Soroka.
The installation of the monument in Kyiv will take place in several stages:
1. Installation of a digital monument in the city center (it can be seen using an augmented reality mobile application).
2. Submitting an application for the installation of a physical monument on Shevchenko Boulevard to the Kyiv City Administration. According to the plan, the monument will be located on the site of the former statue of Lenin.
3. If the petition is rejected, the sculpture of Satoshi Nakamoto will be installed in another location. One of the options is to place it on the territory of one of the modern business centers of Kyiv.
The installation of the monument is the first stage of a global project, the goal of which is to establish a virtual decentralized foundation of the Blockchain Republic with its center in the city of Nakamoto.
If the foundation manages to collect enough funds during the campaign, these resources will be used to purchase a tropical island. A city will be built on this island, and in its center there will be the largest monument to Satoshi. All citizens will have the opportunity to visit the city, take part in congresses and meetings.
