China has turned on the back and plans to lift the ban on mining

China is trying to save face and is looking for reasons to return mining to the list of permitted activities.

China's National Development and Reform Commission said it is listening to public opinion on the return of mining farms to the country and is asking for public comments from interested entrepreneurs.

This is the logical outcome of the war of the Communist Party with data centers that moved to neighboring Kazakhstan and deployed their nodes there. The direct loss of jobs and tax contributions to the budget eventually forced even the toughest opponents of cryptocurrencies to come to their senses.

The “public hearings” will last from October 21 to November 21 and based on their results, a decision will be made to invite the fugitives home.

But will large pools want to return to China? This is still a big question, because in Kazakhstan they were accepted as family and created greenhouse conditions with minimal taxes.
