Binance Launches Info 2.0 - An Objective Cryptocurrency Rating

One of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges is launching the Binance Info 2.0 platform, a guide to the world of cryptocurrencies. The database, which promises to be the most comprehensive yet, provides all-inclusive access to information. The development team positions the new service as a comprehensive and objective platform for aggregating information about crypto assets.

The five-step rating scale will be built on the basis of more than 1,000 reports received from 50 rating agencies and analytical publications, including blokt.com. Based on this data, it is planned to create an overall picture of each project, which includes detailed information about the coin, developers, source of information, build charts in real time and determine a single “five-star” rating. All reports will come from professional independent rating agencies or research centers, including media leaders and industry leaders.

One click on a coin will bring up complete information about that asset, and all information will be free to users. The Binance team plans to add video ratings and additional interactive options soon. Info 2.0 is currently in beta and contains a database of 1,400 popular crypto assets.

Crypto ratings have recently become increasingly common both at the business level (ratings from financial institutions) and in government research laboratories. As experience has shown, one-sided research has proven to be irrelevant, so Binance believes that the time has come for the company to explore this new area by providing a database of ratings for all crypto assets that anyone can access.

The company hopes that Info 2.0, backed by such a brand, will have relevance and popularity in the crypto community. However, Binance emphasizes that although the company's staff compiles professional analytics, this database does not constitute direct investment advice.

The company's statement states:

Binance Info is designed to allow users to quickly learn about each project, as well as the network and services it provides. Users can access all reports on Info.Binance.com.

Is there a future for such interaction?

Is it right for a cryptocurrency exchange to offer its own cryptocurrency ratings, and can it remain impartial and not be used for manipulation? These questions still remain open.
