Former Ant Group and Uber executive Brian Schroeder has been named president of Binance's US operations, replacing Brian Brooks, who abruptly resigned in August after just four months on the job.
Binance.US said Schroeder oversees the company's strategy and execution, financing, business and corporate development, and manages the company's legal, human resources, product and technology capabilities.
Schroeder noted that Binance.US remains a "regulated" and profitable company that serves millions of customers.
During his nearly three years at Ant Group, Schroeder has been focused on growing and expanding the company's business and on global partnership. Before Ant, he was responsible for Uber's strategy and business development in the Asia-Pacific region.
Brooks resigned a month ago due to "disagreements in the strategic direction of the company."
