From June 1, a new investment instrument HB10 will launch on the Huobi trading platform
The company says it is launching an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that allows retail traders to gain access to a portfolio of crypto assets, rather than just one asset.
The investment vehicle is called HB10 and can only be purchased with digital currency.
The HB10 Index tracks and displays the real-time capitalization of 10 crypto assets based on their market value.
Huobi representatives claim that the use of the HB10 index will help investors diversify trading risks by giving traders access to a basket of 10 assets.
In addition to small traders, the product will be available to large players representing institutional funds. Thus, this will avoid price spikes that occur during large transactions on the market.
This service will not be available to American clients, given the uncertain attitude of US regulators towards cryptocurrency ETFs. Chinese investors will have access to the new tool as part of Huobi Pro.
