Cryptocurrency exchange BitFlyer received a license and starts on the digital currency market in the European Union
To date, BitFlyer has become the only trading platform that has received licensing permission to conduct cryptocurrency exchange transactions between users from Europe and the United States, and also provides access to digital trading resources in Japan. Thus, BitFlyer unites the world's largest virtual currency markets.

At the same time, BitFlyer supports trading pairs with fiat assets and cryptocurrencies Bitcoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash. The European market is planned to be replenished with another Bitcoin/Euro (BTC/EUR) pair.
The exchange plans to expand the range of offered both fiat and crypto currencies. New trading pairs with Litecoin, Ethereum and Ethereum Classic will be added in the near future.
“I am proud that BitFlyer has become the most legitimate cryptocurrency exchange in the world; This regulatory assessment gives our customers, our company and the virtual currency industry as a whole a very positive outlook for the future,” said BitFlyer Chief Executive Officer Yuzo Kano.
Tokyo operator BitFlyer has received a payment institution license from Luxembourg regulator the Commission de Surveillance des Finans. Luxembourg Finance Minister Pierre Gramegna commented on the event: “We are very pleased that one of the most successful Japanese startups has chosen Luxembourg as its platform in the EU.”
