The Dutch Central Bank (DNB) has warned that the Binance exchange is operating in the country without proper registration.
According to the Central Bank, Binance illegally offers storage and exchange of digital currency without the necessary registration. In addition, in its activities the company does not comply with international principles of combating the financing of terrorism and money laundering.
Binance knows the position of the regulator. The exchange is now trying to obtain a license in the country and is in the process of applying for registration.
Previously, regulators in Great Britain, Cayman Islands, Thailand, Hong Kong, Poland, Malta, Italy and Malaysia. European partners Binance has stopped working with the exchange.
According to the crypto platform, it is working to comply with the law, and has hired a former IRS criminal investigator to bring the work into compliance with regulatory requirements.
