The Poloniex mobile app will help you trade around the clock

US cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex, owned by Goldman Sachs-backed financial services company Circle, has launched a trading application for mobile devices. According to an announcement published on the Circle blog, this is the only official app on Android Play and the iOS App Store supported by Poloniex.

The exchange claims that in terms of features, this program is much better than all others. Users will be provided with real-time updates on all markets, charts in different time frames, the ability to manage specific coins and the ability to create alerts on price changes.

In addition, trading is already available on mobile devices running the iOS operating system. App users need to create an API key on a PC to trade from a mobile device. How to do this is indicated in the application itself.

The release of official mobile software is an important event for the Boston exchange, but not the only one over the past few years. Notable ones included establishing a control relationship with a major investment banking firm through a $400 million stake acquisition in early 2018. However, since then the position of the exchange has been shaken. At the end of 2017, the platform announced the introduction of a policy of verifications regarding outdated accounts in accordance with the legislation on the KYC procedure, which affected the entire cryptocurrency industry.

In May 2018, Poloniex began applying the KYC procedure to owners of previously opened anonymous accounts, despite the fact that she promised to warn in advance about the new verification process.

Judging by the launch of the application, these are not the last changes on the exchange. The site also promised users an improved verification process via mobile devices. Let's see if these changes will be positive for customers.
