CoinMarketCap, a cryptocurrency news platform and leading website for tracking crypto asset capitalization, has announced a new approach to advertising.
CoinMarketCap's main source of income is advertising. Therefore, the company is looking for new information tools. In an attempt to eliminate the intrusive and irrelevant advertising that accompanies website users, the platform is looking for new forms of advertising. Modern blockchain projects provide an opportunity to experiment with advertising strategy. One of these projects, Kind Ads, attracted the company’s attention with its unconventional approach to advertising.
CoinMarketCap drew attention to “Kind Ads” and their native KIND markers. The company is excited by the project's core idea of creating a kinder Internet by making sure ads look relevant to users.
From the perspective of those implementing the Kind Network, advertisers and publishers can tap into traditional and innovative ad formats. Essentially, it allows them to gain direct access to publisher inventories, which benefits all parties involved. The model also assumes more control from users over the data they are interested in.
CoinMarketCap now accepts Kindes Tokens (KIND) as payment for advertising space. In addition to BTC, ETH and fiat, advertisers can pay to use KIND, the Kind Ads token, an advertising platform that serves convenient ads through more effective channels such as email and push notifications.
CoinMarketCap is confident that the Kind project will be interesting and useful for both advertisers and users with its low cost, accessibility and advertising content.
This is the third major news involving CoinMarketCap in the last month. The company recently announced its professional API service and also experienced a major technical glitch that artificially raised all cryptocurrency prices by 1000%.
In May, the online community questioned the correctness of CoinMarketCap's displayed ads.
