Youth.org is an organization created in 2015 by Ryan Charles and Dr. Clemens Lay that allows people to get paid for their social media activities by posting and finding quality content.
Since its inception, Youth.org has overcome many obstacles on its way to becoming a popular social network for crypto enthusiasts. According to Charles, the volume of payments on the platform is growing every day, and this allows the organization to develop and provide new technologies.
“We are currently creating a Money Button on the Internet,” Charles told CoinGeek reporters. “With this technology, any third-party publisher or application will be able to add a micropayment service to their platform.”
The payment button allows websites to integrate Youth.org's micropayment system, through which a reader can pay to read or “buy” an article quickly and cheaply (under $1) without having to pay a full subscription.
“We create a lot of mechanisms through which people can make money, and that's the main reason to join,” Charles said. “Our platform can integrate with credit card systems, like the Coinbase Buy app, and also allows users to purchase Bitcoin Cash using credit cards. We are committed to making digital currencies easy for everyday people to use.”
Charles believes that an important part of cryptocurrency adoption is for merchants and businesses to understand the benefits of the technology.
“If you use a credit card today, you are definitely paying a lot of fees. Bitcoin Cash fees are very small, and this is very important for entrepreneurs. All they need is a solution that will help integrate Bitcoin Cash into the rest of their systems. We have done a lot of work already, but there is much more work to be done.”
