Crypto exchanges continue to exclude BCH trading pairs

Crypto exchange OKEx has delisted trading pairs with Bitcoin Cash. Perhaps there is something wrong with the cryptocurrency, which was created as an alternative to the classic Bitcoin to solve scaling problems?

The OKEx exchange received a certificate of registration in the summer of 2015 in Hong Kong as a subsidiary of the OKcoin crypto platform, registered in China.

OKEx began its work in May 2017, when Chinese regulators' bans on futures trading deprived parent OKcoin of the opportunity to cooperate with traders in this segment.

The exchange supports BTC and LTC futures, the fee for opening a position is 0.03%, and the most highly liquid pairs are BTC/USD and LTC/USD.

Eighty pairs are currently available for trading on OKEx. The total volume of transactions on them is 125,000 BTC per day. This exchange is not as popular as, for example, Binance, because it does not provide an affiliate program for developers and owners of web resources.

An announcement appeared on the official website of the exchange that reads like this:

“We will close all trading pairs on the market involving BCH tokens from 18:00 on March 30, 2018 (Hong Kong time) due to their low liquidity. BCH will still be available for trading on the BTC, ETH and USDT markets (BCH/BTC, BCH/ETH, BCH/USDT). For better management of your funds, we recommend that you cancel your pending orders as soon as possible, or our system will cancel them automatically at the time of closure. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience.”

We would like to remind you that on March 26 crypto exchange KuCoin also delisted trading pairsand excluded 7 altcoin pairs from trading with Bitcoin Cash.
