Financial services company Bloomberg has added three new cryptocurrencies - Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin - to its Bloomberg Terminal app.
Bloomberg Terminal provides its subscribers with quotes, financial data, the latest research, analytics and allows them to trade cryptocurrency on an electronic trading platform. In the application you can also watch the latest news and communicate with other users. According to Fortune's sources, the addition of financial data on alternative cryptocurrencies is aimed at forex traders who may be interested in exploring new currencies. The addition of Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple also demonstrates that Bloomberg has an interest not only in Bitcoin, but in all cryptocurrencies in general - in their form and structure, altcoins are very different from Bitcoin, which until recently was the only thing the app focused on.
The move is being attributed by some to the sharp rise in prices of many alternative cryptocurrencies, or altcoins, as well as rising prices for Bitcoin. Perhaps in the future we will be able to see other cryptocurrencies in the terminal, because the capitalization of altcoins continues to grow. Bitcoin, however, was and remains the most valuable digital currency with a market capitalization of over $300 billion, but Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin have already proven their viability. Ethereum has surpassed $700, Litecoin has risen 200% in two days, and Ripple is already worth more than 90 cents. Such growth could not fail to attract the attention of investors, the increase in the number of which is proportional to the growth of cryptocurrencies.
It is worth noting that the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission gave the go-ahead for trading in Bitcoin futures, after which Japanese exchanges announced their plans to launch futures and this is another reason why investors are so confident in investing in cryptocurrencies.

Ripple and Zcash may be listed on Coinbase
Obviously, such an event is good news for any cryptocurrency company. XRP traders have been waiting for this for a very long time, because they know that listing will be followed by an increase in the price of the digital currency. The listing will likely have a similar impact on Zcash.
