The Litecoin Foundation introduced the OmniLite platform, which offers access to smart contracts, tokenized assets and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The open source platform is built on the Litecoin blockchain, and provides low-cost transactions, high liquidity and security.
OmniLite allows you to create your own crypto assets or tokens. The platform makes it possible to use decentralized crowdfunding. Crowdsale participants can send Litecoins or tokens directly to the issuer's address, and OmniLite Layer will automatically deliver the crowdfunding tokens to the sender.
OmniLite allows NFTs to be issued and managed on the Litecoin blockchain, and facilitates the creation of stablecoins on top of the Litecoin blockchain.
OmniLite is currently available on three platforms: Windows, Linux and macOS and supports Litecoin Omni wallet mode.
