Many companies accept Litecoin as a means of payment

The Litecoin Foundation recently tweeted that more and more companies are interested in Litecoin (LTC).

The company reminded its users that the more their business partners accept Litecoin, the more the popularity and price of the coin will increase. On May 30, flight aggregator and private jet booking platform TapJet announced it is accepting litecoin payments. Considering TapJet's customer base of 16,000 companies worldwide, this move will definitely have a positive impact on litecoin. The company's CEO Eugene Kesselman said that litecoin will become an integral part of the TapJet platform, to which Litecoin founder Charlie Lee responded that it is “the most suitable cryptocurrency for payments that will allow you to book charter flights in less than a minute.”

On May 31, another airline, SurfAir, announced the adoption of the coin. A few days earlier, online travel agency CheapAir also announced it would accept litecoin payments. Now you can pay for CheapAir’s services using Bitcoin cash (BCH), Dash (DASH) and litecoin (LTC). In 2013, CheapAir became the first travel agency to accept Bitcoin cash (BTC) as payment for flight, hotel and train bookings. CheapAir is now one of the most influential advocates for the adoption of cryptocurrency.

And although the competition between fiat and cryptocurrencies is obvious, at the moment the share of cryptocurrency payments in the market is still below expectations. However, once cryptocurrency price fluctuations stabilize, we can expect many companies to accept such payments.
