Tesla accepts payment in DOGE

Dogecoin's price skyrocketed after Elon Musk said the coin could be used to buy Tesla merchandise.

Now Tesla allows you to buy merch with Dogecoin. The initiative is also supported outside the United States. Dogecoin has become the only way to buy some items from the Tesla store. Other cryptocurrencies are not accepted.

Musk announced the initiative on Twitter on December 14. Users recently discovered a hidden code for integrating crypto payments.

After Musk's last tweet, the meme jumped 15% in 24 hours and is trading at $0.199.
