The Floki token has become an official partner of the Spartak-Moscow football club. The joke coin's logo will appear on the players' uniforms and will be broadcast on LED panels during games.
The press service of the Moscow team published the news, noting that the club is pleased to enter into a partnership agreement with the innovative platform. Floki actively collaborates with sports stars. The platform has already concluded sponsorship contracts with the Napoli and Bayer football clubs, as well as with the famous boxer Fury.
Previously, the Floki advertising campaign was held in public transport in the UK. The famous London buses moved around the capital with a vivid image of the token logo. The British regulator ASA has begun an investigation into the legality of such an advertising campaign.
The legality of the Moscow club’s agreement is also being questioned in Russia.
According to current legislation, cryptocurrency is prohibited in the country as a means of payment, although it is allowed to buy and store it. The adopted law “On CFA” clearly states the ban on the dissemination of information about the possibility of paying for goods and services in cryptocurrency. Formally, the meme token logo on the team uniform does not violate the law. However, when choosing advertising slogans, you need to be extremely careful so as not to cross the fine line of the law, lawyers note.
