Verge integrates smart contracts into its token

In one of their latest tweets, Verge announced that they have begun work on integrating a new smart contract system that will be built into the Verge XVG token. This integration will be carried out in collaboration with Verge and RSK experts. The Buenos Aires-based company claims to have the most secure smart contract platform in the world.

According to RSK: “ It is the first open source smart contract platform that is two-way linked to Bitcoin and also rewards miners who take advantage of the power of federated mining, allowing them to actively participate in the crypto revolution. RSK's main goal is to open up new opportunities for the Bitcoin ecosystem by leveraging smart contracts, near-instant payments, and higher scalability."

RSK is focused on the security of its customers, which is likely what brought them together with Verge, whose token aims to become the leading privacy cryptocurrency. Using a new smart contract platform, the Verge and XVG networks will be able to achieve a new level of security.

The statement indicates that the development of a test network has been in full swing for a week now. It looks like Verge and RSK are keeping a fast pace, wanting to release a viable product as soon as possible. There is an opinion that this rush is due to Verge's desire to clear the brand's reputation in light of the latest hacks.

This can only mean that quite soon a test version of the platform will be available, which everyone can try before Verge moves on to launching the main one networks.

At least some positive news amid the gloomy headlines about price cuts. Who knows, maybe improving the network using smart contract protocols can affect the value of XVG.
