On October 6, the price of Bitcoin again exceeded $55,000.
On Wednesday afternoon, the price of Bitcoin soared by $2,000 in just a few minutes. At the time of writing, the local maximum was set at about $55,500, and Bitcoin is trading at $54,700.

And although the price of Bitcoin rose by about 9% per day, most top altcoins did not support the growth of the crypto flagship. The price of ETH rose by only 2%, while BNB and ADA fell by 2% and 1%, respectively.
