Bitcoin fees have halved in a year

The average BTC commission is falling amid the growth of unique Bitcoin addresses and addresses with a non-zero balance.

The average Bitcoin transaction fee has halved in a year. According to YCharts, this figure reached its minimum of $1,879 yesterday, showing a decrease of 57%.

Today, the average transaction fee is $2,129. This is a change of 13.26% compared to yesterday and -36.87% compared to last year's figures of $3,372.

The maximum level is also observed in the number of addresses with a non-zero balance. According to Glassnode, the network of the first cryptocurrency has 38.76 million such addresses. That's just above the previous April record of 38.7 million. The market went to a new record for 213 days.  The total number of unique Bitcoin addresses is also growing.
