Bitcoin fell below $36,000

On the evening of May 5, quotes of the first cryptocurrency dropped to levels near $35,500. At the time of writing, the price had adjusted to levels around $36,500

Over the past 24 hours, the total volume of liquidations on the futures market exceeded $400 million.

The flagship traditionally pulled the rest of the market with it. According to CoinGecko, all assets from the top 10 by capitalization were in the red zone.
