The Japanese group GMO Internet has announced its desire to become one of the leaders in the mining of cryptocurrencies
In this regard, the group will open its branch in Northern Europe. This company also previously announced its intention to pay its employees part of their salaries in Bitcoin starting next March.
Along with its usual activities, this summer GMO Internet opened a cryptocurrency exchange and plans to increase the range of services and goods in the field of cryptocurrency mining. GMO Internet is currently already using a mining center powered by renewable energy resources.
The company also plans to use the latest developments and technologies, for which it works closely with developers of high-performance systems. The use of such new products in semiconductor technologies as the latest 7 nm*1 chips is considered important.
Presumably, the start of the announced cryptocurrency mining is expected in the first half of next year.
