According to the Wirex blog, very soon owners of Bitcoin wallets will have access to a personal bank account.
Despite the fact that the account will be registered in the UK, “customers from dozens of countries around the world” will be able to use it. The list of countries itself has not yet been made public. Each user will receive a personal number and BIC. The account will also be registered with the Financial Services Authority.
For domestic transfers, the FPS (Faster Payments Service) system will be used, international transactions are serviced using the IBAN system. As company representatives note, this list will expand in the future.
It is worth noting that only a physical debit card can be linked to an account, not a prepaid one. The company hopes that they will begin to be released soon.
As can be judged by the latest news from the cryptocurrency world, Bitcoin wallets have begun to improve their service system to improve the quality of work. Thus, last week Bread introduced the ability to buy bitcoins using credit cards.
