Bitfury Vice President George Kikvadze is confident that it is time for Tesla to start accepting Bitcoin as payment for cars. Using Twitter, he reached out to Elon Musk.
“Elon Musk could unite Tesla buyers and Bitcoin holders. I’m sure it’s time for Tesla to start accepting bitcoins as payment for cars,” Kikvadze wrote on his Twitter.
Some Twitter users have already responded to this appeal, suggesting that Elon Musk introduce cryptocurrency as a payment method for all companies under his control.
Currently, Tesla only accepts fiduciary currencies for payment.
